Archiving and Preservation Policy

The International Journal of Information Systems and Computer Technologies (IJISCT) is committed to ensuring the long-term accessibility, availability, and preservation of its scholarly publications. The journal recognizes the importance of ensuring that scholars and institutions, as well as the global scholarly community, continue to have access to IJISCT and will therefore maintain the stability of the academic record by employing reliable digital preservation techniques and secure archival processes.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

IJISCT adopts the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a preservation service created by the Public Knowledge Project for journals hosted on Open Journal Systems (OJS). The decentralized, long-term digital preservation service offered by PKP PN ensures that published content is not lost to accidental deletion, technical failures, or journal disruptions.

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs)

Each article published in IJISCT is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref. The DOI serves as a persistent and unique identifier that facilitates reliable citation, indexing, discovery, and permanent access to the Version of Record, even if the article's web address changes over time.
